Before storing your power station for an extended period, please follow the steps below.
Preparation Before Storage
1. Adjust the charge level to 50%–80%
2. Turn off all output ports
- Manually turn off: AC output, DC output (USB/12V), IoT button, and the AC IN/OUT toggle switch (for Mega 3 and Mega 5).
- Press and hold the main power button until OFF appears on the screen, then release. The unit will fully shut down.
3. Disconnect all cables
- Unplug all charging cables and load cables.
4. Clean the unit
- Wipe the housing and ports with a soft, dry cloth. Make sure there is no dust or liquid residue. Close the rubber port covers.
- Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners.
5. Record the current status (take a photo or write on a label and attach it to the unit)
- Current charge percentage
- Current date
- Reminder date for the next maintenance charge (recommended: every 3 months)
Storage Environment
- Dry, well‑ventilated area, out of direct sunlight.
- Temperature range: -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C)
- Keep away from flammable materials (paper, fabric, gasoline, etc.).
- Do not stack heavy objects on top of the unit.
Regular Maintenance
We recommend performing a charge/discharge cycle once every 3 months for battery health.
Even when powered off, the BMS and natural battery self‑discharge will slowly consume power (typically 1%–3% per month). If you do not check the unit for 6 months, the charge level may drop from 50% to below 30%. If it continues to drop, the battery risks entering an over‑discharged state.
Reactivation After Long‑Term Storage
When you are ready to use the power station again, follow these steps:
1. Visual inspection – Check for any signs of deformation or rust/corrosion.
2. Temperature acclimation – If the unit was stored in a low‑temperature environment (< 50°F / 10°C), let it sit at room temperature for 2–4 hours before powering on.
3. Power on and check charge level
- If the display shows <10% , charge the unit first.
- If the charge level is adequate, please discharge the unit until the screen shows error code E002, then charge it fully to 100%. After that, you can use it normally.
